21 Simple Things You Can Do for Someone With Diabetes Gets a Great Review
If there is anything that makes me extremely happy, it’s getting a great review. Hey, why not? You take the good and the bad when you’re a writer, and I can tell you the good is definitely a lot better! But the other reason it’s nice to get a great review is because it means someone connected with your book. That means everything! The whole reason writers write a book to begin with is to connect with readers.
Not everyone likes everything. Not every person is going to be happy with the book you’ve written, and that’s okay. The purpose of writing (and marketing) is to find those people who will get something out of the words you put down on paper.
To that end, I just got a really nice review from A Mom After God’s Own Heart the other day while on my virtual book tour. She said she was a new diabetic, but could already relate to the things I mention in the book. She also gave it a hearty recommendation and thanked me for writing it. You can’t get any better than that! I thank her for that review and hope you will continue following me along my virtual book tour.
